On June 11, 2017, the fourth edition of the "Garden is my nature" day was organized by the Horticultural School of Pfixbourg. The objective was to explain the inhabitants of the area how to garden in an ecological way.

On the high school ground, visitors could se the different types of mulch, the principle of fertile mounds or the efficients vegetable associations.

Local associations were involved in water conservation, gardening charter or seed conservation.

The whole day, everyone was speaking about awareness. The visitors showed much curiosity and a desire to learn.

The Network of Peasant Seeds was present to explain importance of biodiversity.

Members of the "Munster Valley in Transition" were distributing free plans of fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Various workshops were also installed to show how to refix instruments ...

... or make yourself the hoops of a greenhouse.

Conferences were organized under the main tent. Here, Gilles Domenech presents his work "Gardening in living ground".

One could also meet Michel Hutt, the author of the "Scream of the Hummingbird".

Meanwhile, young artists were participating at the "Draw me a garden" contest ...

... while parents were filling their baskets with flowers, fruits and fresh vegetables in the school's greenhouse and store.

So now, let's wait for the fifth edition !
