Toussaint Cézari is 86 years old : he was born in 1929 in a mountain village called "Solara".
When I met him, he was dancing in the farandole at the "Dare Brotherhood" party.
« My name is Toussaint because I was born on the All Saints Day.
If I’d been born the next day, my name would have been "Dead". »

Monsieur Cézari invites me to lunch. He lives in Solenzara, a small seaside town
a few kilometers downstream from Solara.
« I worked for 50 years on the continent as a customs officer. I was assigned
to the Orly airport. At this time, it was made of wood. Paris was wonderful:
I was was always going to the theater. But I used to come back to Corsica
very often: when I was thinking about the island, I was like a child with a candy.
When I retired, I wanted to go back live in the mountains, but my village was deserted.
I can tell you, it broke my heart. So I settled on the coast. It's simpler for the bread
and the doctor anyway.
