At Léo's, in Yburg

We visit Léo, Trude’s brother. He lives with his family in the suburb of Amsterdam.
His house floats on water. In an other context, it reminds me the floating houses of Cat Bâ island,
in Vietnam. But this metallic one has been built on a site, and then put in the lake in a line
of identical houses. Depends of the level of water, it slides along a vertical pivot which stabilizes
the house. Every building is connected with metallic footbridges. Under the fenced path,
ducks, swans and little boats are moving. On summer, children are swimming in front of their home.

We take the tramway to go to Amsterdam.
