Actually in Casamance, this is the mango season. Only on our garden and a bit around, we can find
seven different kind, but Omar says there are two hundreds varieties. Mango are so many that when
there is a bit of wind you can here them fall from the trees, and sometimes we really walk on ripped
fruit carpet. My favorite are the "mango-apple", which remind me the pulp of peach,
and the "mango-papaye", which is creamy : when you open it, it's like you open a pot of jam.
The mango "boum-boum" also is amazing : it's huge and the pulp is tasty and tender.
