Near Tamri, north of Agadir, a house overlooks the ocean. Craftsmen are busy inside. They have reeds to protect the openings from the wind and the sun. Some visitors will soon have the chance to observe the horizon from this terrace.

Only two surfers walk along the shore covered in spray. After observing the waves for a long time, they come to meet me. One observs my painting, the other asks me: Aren’t you afraid, one day, of being replaced by artificial intelligence?

This question leaves me wondering. I watch a ringed plover hop across the wet sand in search of food. Is he afraid of being, one day, replaced by a helicopter?
