Back to World

On the way to the next stop, we visit the granary of Ifri Imadidane, near Taliouine. The Berbers had the custom of storing their grain, their jewelry or their contracts in collective shelters secured by a guard, which they called Agadir, the granaries. That of Ifri looks like a miniature city built in the hollow of an immense cave.

The road passes by, the colors of the landscapes change, more vivid with each appearance of the sun, luminous and golden at sunset

Even in the most lost, the most deserted villages, traces of the ancients remain, their taste for ornament, their patience in tracing patterns.

Palm trees loom on the horizon. We finally arrive at the next step.
