The Avenir alley, in the "suburbs" of Rosny where I grew up with my sister Françoise, is the place of my earliest memories. This path which, ironically its name overlooks the cemetery, was our playground. In winter, when it had snowed, we would go on an expedition, shoes covered with socks so as not to slip and pockets filled with warm chestnuts. In our hands, a snowman came to life with a carrot for his nose, then we returned home where we had a good snack. The place that matters most, I would say the Sainte-Geneviève church, a place of a multitude of happy memories or some painful ones. During the confinement I often thought of the Sainte-Geneviève church and the Rosny History Museum. This is an open book about the city where my sister and I grew up.
