Back in Bridgeport, we are invited to Hoyne House, a shared house where Lucie used to live for a few months. I find here a well-cultivated garden, full of thirty-somethings people holding beer cans. David, one of the five residents, is an urban farmer and a music lover. Tonight, he organizes a double concert.
In the living room, about forty people are gathered around Matthew Shelton. In a cozy atmosphere, he sings poetic texts with a low and deep voice. He accompanies himself with a guitar and an african piano named «mbira». After his concert, he offers a self-produced CD sold with a fanzine.
The second part of the concert is played by an Texan group named Little Marzan. Their music is a smooth mix of musical saw, banjo and electronic sounds coming from a hand-crafted console. They have also produce an independent album.
