Lucie and Nick met eight years ago. She was traveling alone in the USA and he was a couch surfer. One morning, she woke up in his living room while he was preparing pancakes. It was the good recipe : she fell in love.

Three years ago, Lucie joined Nick in Chicago to marry him. Or rather, she joined him to love him, but she had to get married to stay. Once she got the green card, the American dream could begin.
