Omar has a necklace that he is wearing all the time. He did it himself, every part is made of ebony.
The Baye Fall are often good craftsman, and this kind of necklace is typical of their tradition.
You can see some piece of wood who represent koranic shelf : one has a portrait of Serigne Touba
(the mourid's leader) inlayed inside. You can also see an an and a pestele as symbols of work,
a calabash for charity, three pearls sticked together that remind the rosary, some protecting grigris,
a heart, the islamic sword, and a mysterious leaky square that symbolize the earth and its different gates.
