In the national museum of Athens, there is this bust made of bronze, dated from 450 BC.
I do not know who is this man, on the label is written "the philosopher". He has an amazing look :
one eye is staring at you with intensity, the other is empty, a real black hole.

I can not guess if this bust has lost an eye during the 2464 years of its life, or if it has been created like this.
On the legend from North, the god Odin gave one eye to access to knowledge. Here, an eye looks outside,
while the other seems to be an opened door to the mind of the philosopher. The shape is clean.
In the other hand, this is the only one-eyed statue of the museum.

Cool, a question without answer.
