Today the destination is Guatapé, a little village about two hours with bus from Medellin.
Few kilometers before, we stop to the Peñòn rock.
It is an amazing monolith formation of 220 meters hight. First it has been venerated
by the local population, then it became the main touristic attraction of the area
(very big stones often have the same story). A staircase has been builded to access the top.
I like the effect : it looks like a visible seam, like the back of a strange corset.
A lady explains me that before being in concrete, the staircase was in wood, covered with moss,
and very slippery. She says that a lot of people died because they wanted to see the view.
Thinking about this, I knocked all the india ink pot over my light grey pants.
