We arrive on the Niaguis village, about 12 km from Ziguinchor. Mäelle brings us in an abandoned hotel,
"les jardins de Kassoumaye". Some objects witness of a glorious past : an empty swimming pool,
an old trampoline, a dusty baby foot, an empty nightclub. The belgium owner is gone since seven years,
after his divorce with a senegalese women. It is an amazing place, a beautiful house on a big ground.
A woman named Mado is still working here. Even if the place is for sale, she rents the two rooms
on the first floor, with a big terrace throughout the house. The nature is luxurious, the garden is full
of ripe mango and apple of cashew.
