On Wednesday, in Bagnolet, the women of a big building meet for a workshop of sewing. They exchange tips, taste new recipes and have good time together.

Esma leads the workshop. She is Turkish and she mastered the "art of the needle", a traditional technique of embroidery, formerly used to adorn the scarves of the women of Anatolia. "At first, I suggested to the other women to learn this technique, but they did not want to. Each one wants to do her own way, regards to their customs and habits, so I let them do. I hate when someone pushes me to do what I dislike, so why would I impose my way to the others ? "
