Ghisonaccia is located in the eastern plain, at the foot of majestic mountains.
This area was once a swamp infested with malaria, constantly invaded by barbarians.
Today, it is an area full of modern houses, constantly invaded by summer vacationers.
The fields are fertile and the roads are fast.
Like the sediment, the population slipped along the slopes towards the coast.
The Corsican families used to transmit the higher lands to the men,
and the worthless swamp to the women. The plain has been dried and cultivated,
the most valuable parts of the island now belong to women. Well done.
