We hit the road again, this time heading west. On the way, we stop at Amtoudi. A mountain is crowned by one of the oldest granaries in Morocco, dating from the 13th century.

This is the third attic I have visited since the start of the trip. These traditional constructions are particular to Souss Massa, the southern region of Morocco. I gradually understand that they are much more than “banks”. The attics tell the story of a collective and united organization that has been maintained for centuries.
