An outdoor lunch was organized today at the foot of the argan trees. Rinsing my hands with rose water in the shade of a century-old orchard is a luxury that I never thought I would experience one day.

Saadia, the head cook, prepared a tagine. A delicious smell fills the air, attracting a few cats surprised by the bargain.

I ask Saadia if I can do her portrait. She refuses. A little later, she comes back and tells me that she finally accepts, but that we must not recognize her. I do my best to find an angle where she appears without really being seen, and asks no questions.
